Ripping out stitches

If you have ever sewn anything in your life then you have probably made a mistake somewhere and needed to rip out some unwanted stitches.  Whether you took the stitches out or started all over (like I often do) is another story....but after watching this video I hope you will consider popping those stitches and trekking on to finish that project!

Here is my quick little video tutorial (courtesy of my friends at www.AllFreeSewing.com) showing you the best (and fastest) way I know how to rip out unwanted stitches.  You will never again rip out every single little stitch!
Enjoy!

  1. Darn. That's exactly what I already do. I was hoping there'd be an even faster way or a cool nifty gadget that sucks em right up. ;) It is definitely faster than pulling every stitch individually!

  2. If you pull the long thread straight (think of pulling the bobbin thread when doing gathers) the short threads don't go into the fabric and brush right off.
