| Simplicity's Electric Scissors |
In my video review of the product I show you what it comes with, how to charge (yup! Has a rechargeable battery!) and use it. I use it to cut everything from a regular sheet of paper to thick acrylic. By my reactions on camera you can definitely tell that I was surprised to see it perform live!
It's one of my new favorite gadgets to use and I know any crafter would love to have a pair for themselves. So, I've teamed up with Simplicity to bring you my latest giveaway where one lucky viewer will be randomly selected to win their own pair of electric scissors! For complete contest details please watch the video below (if you are reading this in my blog) or click HERE to go to the video watch page on YouTube.
The giveaway deadline is Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012 at 11:59pm EST. Contest is open to worldwide viewers.
GOOD LUCK!

So pleased to see these on the market as I have been in search of electric scissors for several years. I love sewing but cutting out is the most painful part, even using lever style scissors. Great giveaway.

When I was in junior high I started to sew. I saw an ad in the newspaper for a local store that offered one pair of electric scissors as a door buster priced at $.99. I knew I had to have these scissors. I begged my sister to drive me to the store before they opened. I worked my way through the crowd and made it to the front door. As the manager opened the door I passed by him and ran back to the sewing department. I called out to the lady who worked in the sewing department "Where are the scissors?" SHe pointed them out to me and I grabbed them. At that time I was a novice sewerr and I had to use my $.50 an hour babysitting money to pay for the electric scissors. I used those scissors until they fell apart. I had to snicker at myself when I saw how much better the Simplicity scissors are than the pair I had all those years ago. I would love to win this new pair!
ReplyDeleteWould SO help my arthritic hands do some crafty cutting! Would love to try them!!

ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say what great tutorials you have on your site. You explain everything so well it makes it easy to understand. Enjoy your blog so much,
ReplyDeleteThis is the first time I've visited your site. This is a great video. I hope I win the scissors! I'm going to go look at your pillowcase dress pattern right now.
ReplyDeleteI loved your video. I've never been here before. You seemed to really love these scissors. I have problems with carpal tunnel, tendinitis, arthritis and a bunch of other things that make it hard to hold scissors. These would be so great to have. Electric scissors have really come a long way. I had some about 40 years ago that were so basic (and loud). These are cool. I hope I get lucky.
